This is the first soap I created. I have sensitive skin and have
always had to be picky when it came to purchasing soap. Then I got
eczema. While at a small health food store in Northville (they are
gone now) the lady working there introduced me to essential oils
and glycerin soap base. I did some research and created this soap.
At that time, I could not use any store bought soap without irritating
my eczema. This soap not only smelled wonderful but it did not irritate

Those with skin conditions like eczema, or psoriasis should be able
to use this soap. If you like patchouli, you will like the scent.
I have found this soap is also popular with men as the scent is
not too 'girlie'.
This soap is light green when I first make it. As the soap matures
it gets darker and the scent gets deeper. So do not be concerned
if the soap was a different shade of green the last time you purchased
This soap is included in the Guilty Pleasures line because the
price of sandalwood has skyrocketed. The best sandalwood comes from
India but it is hard to get now and very expensive. I am still using
what I have of India sandalwood and am looking for a good alternate
sandalwood but so far nothing from any other country comes even
